Poem; Anger and Revenge

Churchill

Anger and revenge.

Often paired.

Hatred is present at times.

They all are destructive.

I know we all know.

We cannot keep them away.

What can one do?

The internal furies push you to fight

While you try to hold them back.

Why can’t we be reasonable all the time?

We can’t because we’re human.

To suppress these feelings is impossible.

We can try to tame them.

But not suppress them.

No matter how wise of a person is.

We are conceived this way.

The good and the evil.

It is up to us who to chose which way to go

And face the consequences.

Peace and serenity
